Versatile actor Dev Anand had enthralled Indian cinema world with some superb films. He had large number of fans not only in India but in Pakistan as well as the Gulf especially Saudi Arabia and UAE.

The eminent actor had won many laurels in his life time for his outstanding contribution to the field of Indian Cinema.

It is fair to say that his death is a irreparable loss to world of cinema and his legacy of classical films will continue to entertain us.

In the era of three other legendary actors Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand and Raj Kapoor ,Shammi had carved his niche in the circuit forward to his next film. He was ever so popular as a romantic hero. In his advancing years, he became the Yahoo image in computers.

I was heartbroken to hear about the death of Suchitra Sen, a legendary actress of yesteryears, this week. She was an actress par excellence. With her death, an era comes to an end in Indian cinema. She was a rare mix of beauty and talent.
Suchitra sen will always be remembered for her power-packed roles in films like Saat Paake Bandha, Devdas and Aandhi. Sen teamed up with Uttam Kumar to form a popular pair in Bengali films.
